I'm a freelance photographer and filmmaker based in Durham, North East England.
I have a background in documentary photography, telling the stories that matter across of the North East, from England’s busiest food bank to issues around housing and loss of industry.
I have a passion for moving people into action through powerful visual storytelling using both
film and photography.
I adopt these same instinctive strengths in my commercial work, which has led me to work
with a number of organisations around the North East on distinct campaigns, such as; health
and safety promotion in a workplace, party political broadcasts, social geography research,
festival promotion and many more. I also photograph weddings and events throughout the North East and my 'in house' work is completed from my photography studio, based at Ushaw College, mainly covering portraiture.
I hold a First Class Honours in Photography, Video and Digital Imagery and a current DBS check.
I am available for commissions, editorial work, workshops and private tuition/mentoring and can travel anywhere in the UK.
If you have a project in mind and would prefer to talk it over in person, my photography studio is based at Ushaw Historical College on the outskirts of Durham City.
